The village is mapping out possibilities to connect the existing bike paths as well as the middle school, elementary school, sports complex, each subdivision and the Virgil/Gilman Trail via a combination of the extension of current paths and by creating new paved trails, dedicated bike lanes and pedestrian bridges. Listen to a presentation and discussion about upgrading the infrastructure of the bike paths while improving safety.

Trustees discuss future ideas for transportation, zoning, telecommunications and more. Daily car trips along Route 47 have increased to a number that retailers take note of.

A Delnor urgent care facility is planning to locate behind the Jewel, south of Dr. Aggarwal, an assisted living facility is looking to locate near the car wash and a “national fast food chain” has a contract to purchase land near the Jewel. While we all know that purchasing land does not mean they will build immediately, it is certainly a step in the right direction.
